Bare Minerals Helps You Save the Planet with Empty Container Recycling Program
The Empties Problem
You see theses types of posts all the time. … The Makeup Empties posts. Beauty bloggers and vloggers love to show their audiences the products they loved enough to finish completely. It’s a great way to showcase the items we highly recommend to our little communities. However, what happens to all these empties? Odds are they are put right into the trash after the post is published and we don’t give it a second thought. Problem is so many of you do the same. Sadly according to the Huffington Post product packaging makes us 45% of all the trash in landfills across the U.S. Let that sink in a moment.

Bare Minerals Recycling Program
Several brands have started recycling programs, I’ll be discussing that in a much bigger post in a few days so hold onto your panties Diva. 🙂 Today we are talking about Bare Minerals. Now the way their program works is pretty straightforward.
Yep you read that right. Bare Minerals will accept any beauty brand empty container as part of their Recycling Rewards Program. Now for the fine Print in plain English.
- You must be a member of the Bare Minerals Friends and Benefits Rewards Program – totally free BTW
- Containers are only accepted at Bare Minerals Boutiques –Check For Locations Near You
- 5 FAB points will be awarded per full size container per day
- Nothing flammable such as aerosols, nail polish etc…
I love how you can buy all the things, and know that you can help the environment at the same time. I don’t know about you guys but I feel pretty good about Bare Minerals as a brand for offering such a great program. The only downside is locations… the nearest boutique near me is 20 minutes away… 20 minutes on the highway, and I live in Indianapolis, but at least they take 5 at a time so i guess I could make the trip around once a month or so.
So what do you guys think about the Give Back Get Back Recycling Program from Bare Minerals? Do you feel like it would make you want to shop there more often? Sound off in the comments.
