Is the Colourpop X Disney Designer Collab the Best Makeup Collection of all Time?
Your Inner Child is about to Ape$h*t
Hey Girl Hey!!! Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock I’m sure you’ve heard about the Colourpop X Disney Designer Collab. I am over here literally jumping up and down. I mean I am so excited I think I might pass out… Michael Jackson Concert level excited. 🙂 I mean come on, I was raised on Disney movies, I raised my kids on Disney Movies, and even though I’m 38 I swear I am still a kid at heart and I freak out over every Disney product that comes out… Like a 5 year old, really I might have a problem here…. The New Designer Disney Collection is Princess Themed and I might add I am very proud of Disney for the selection in the Princesses chosen, Y’all this is lit.

The Colourpop X Disney Designer PR Collection
This is something fairly knew that Colourpop has been doing ( with respect, BH Cosmetics did it first) they listened to their customers and are selling them same PR box that they send to influencers, I mean not me…. those folks with millions of subs on Youtube, however if they feel so inclined to send it to me… I wouldn’t say No…. But I digress, we are are talking about the Pr Vault… Ok so it is kind of pricey at $120… much more than the last PR box they sold, but before we go all ” that costs to much” let’s take a look at what you get.
A 15 shade limited edition palette with the Disney Princess theme.
Chip: matte soft beige nude
Juju: matte warm rosy pink
Grumpy: matte dusty salmon
Triton: sand with a golden sheen
Abu: matte intense warm brown
Prince Charming: ivory pearl with a green duochrome
Ray: metallic champagne
Fairy Godmother: metallic bright coral
One Kiss?: metallic bright coppery gold
Thingamabob: vibrant metallic silver
Enchanted Rose: rich metallic rose
Poison Apple: metallic pinky violet
Magic Carpet: blackened plum
Beast: deep warm brown topped with gold glitter
Midnight Curfew: black sprinkled with silver glitter
The same cult classic formula that fans have come to love with new shades.
We are addicted to the super shock cream to shadow formula over here… Can not wait to try these new shades. 🙂
I have not tried Colourpop Lip Glosses. I am not a big fan of lip gloss, much more of a matte liquid lipstick type of girl, but the glass like description is enticing.
I am obsessed with Colourpop Highlighters! Pink, purple, and green highlighters take a big pair of ladyballs to pull off, but hey I am the CHAMP of daring beauty looks. 🙂 The Part of Your World Highlighter has a silvery pink finish. Now I am a Disney aficionado… I am not sure what part of The Little Mermaid inspired this pink shade. I think I associate pink more with Sleeping Beauty…. but ok… she’s cute though.
I know what you’re saying… “but Erica, I can’t wear that pink highlighter everyday, some occasions call for a subtle highlight” Got you covered Sis! Try the A Smile and a Song Super Shock Highlighter for a more buildable light gold highlight.
Again, the PR collection is $120, but if you don’t want all that fancy packaging you can buy the vault for $110 – or you can buy individual items. The collection launches on September 28th at 9 AM PST – check your time zones! This collection has generated quite a bit of hype so I am sure it will sell out. Get your coins in order! 🙂
