It’s Day 2 of our 30 days of Faves. Ok let’s get real. I had every intention of posting everyday but life got in the way, as it tend to do. Anyway…. Today we are going to talk about my favorite color. Problem is that I am pretty fluid in the color department. I sort of go through phases where I am totally obsessed with a particular color and I have to have EVERYTHING in that shade. Last year it was pink, then it was gray, then rose gold – which is very difficult to find in home decor even though it is supposed to be the in thing right now.
Lately I have been feeling Tiffany Blue a lot. I have dreams of a white, silver, and Tiffany Blue kitchen. I think that will be an upcoming project. Stay Tuned. #SPOILERALERT!!!
Like Rose Gold Tiffany Blue is pretty on trend but not that easy to find. It is also a copywritten color so you can’t just walk into a paint store and say “I want Tiffany Blue Paint.” From what I understand around the web Benjamin Moore Scuba Green is the closest.
When I was 23 years old my mother gave me a silver bracelet from Tiffany. I was sort of in awe of it. It was my prized possession for many years. I kept the box for a very very long time. Ever since then I think about the little box and think man this is a very clever marketing technique. I can honestly say it worked. Whenever I see this shade I think of Tiffany’s and the elegance that name entails.
So that’s Day 2 – I love Tiffany Blue. It’s the perfect balance of green and blue and it turns any gathering, interior design, or girls night out the perfect aura of elegance and refinement. And thought of thing you could never afford.
